Serial Number Examples: 5 to 6 digits: A30112 OR 53360 17 digits: KMTWA00 VIN Number Location: Attached to right side (curb) on machine behind front fender. May also be found on right side under operators cab. Komatsu also stamp full VIN below plate in large stamps. Serial Number Examples: 6 digits: A83462 17 digits: KMTHB06. VIN Number Location: Same location as Case, Caterpillar and John Deere. The public stamping of the full VIN can be found on the front of the machine between the 2 hydraulic arms on a flat surface. Komatsu place a small decal bearing the word KOMATSU over their stampings.
